The COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated an accelerated ramp-up of Virtual Care – practically overnight. To reduce the risks of contracting COVID-19 for vulnerable children, youth, and their families. Children’s Healthcare Canada members and other service providers have been developing, implementing, and testing many aspects of virtual care – ranging from phone-based consultations and check-ins, to video visits for pain management, the care of children with medical complexity, tele-rounding, and even emergency room assessment and consultation, and much more.
There is much to learn from innovators in virtual care about barriers, facilitators, key considerations, and opportunities for improvement and sustainability beyond this current crisis.
Through this webinar, participants will
