In Asia today, girls and boys are attending school more than ever before. However, students in disadvantaged communities still face barriers to accessing quality education. Improvements in school enrollment are not being matched by quality teaching and learning in the classroom or at home. World Vision works in 24 countries in the Asia Pacific region. Our aim is for every child in every community in which we work to be educated for life - to be able to read and write and have basic numeracy and life skills by the time they reach age 11. Watch this video to learn more about the programmes we're supporting that bring learning, literacy and life skills to children across Asia Pacific.
