Jaesic Feathers (they/he) is a queer, disabled, and neurodivergent life coach, blogger, community organizer, musician, and dancer among other things. Over the course of this past year, they have been building their blog, Queer Cult, to be a safer space for those of us who hold marginalized identities to come and feel heard, seen, and valid. There Jaesic shares their lived experience as a nonbinary, pansexual, polyamorous, autistic/ADHDer, disabled and spiritual without religion person in addition to raising awareness for social justice issues.
In their coaching business they love to empower queer and/or neurodivergent individuals to embrace their identities and to show up to life’s circumstances with all that they are so that they may lead authentically purposeful and fulfilling lives. Jaesic also offer one-on-one support in the form of peer support sessions, where someone can explore a self-discovery topic for 30-45mins in a safe container with them without needing to sign a coaching contract.
Jaesic's latest offering has been what they call a Queer Grief Jam. Queer grief is the grief we hold for having to live in a world that does not always accept, respect, or celebrate us for who we are. For two hours, once a month on zoom, people come together to set down their resiliency to share what they’ve been grieving lately. We find solace in each other’s stories and are revitalized to move forward with deepened connection to ourselves and with others. Jaesic is soon going to be hosting more of these jams specific to neurodivergence and disability as well.
