Hi, welcome to the ingredient channel where I share easy to follow healthy home-made recipes every week. Char Siu, a Cantonese style roasted Pork. In mandarin, it is pronounced as Cha Shao. In addition to being consumed alone, the Char Siu pork could also get in noodle soup, stir fries, or serve as fillings for Bao. As of the ingredient, fatty parts like pork belly or pork shoulders are chief’s favorite. In this video, however, I am using pork chops. Nonetheless, the result is quite satisfying.

• Pork chop (2.5 lb)
• Garlic powder (2 tbsp)
• Brown sugar (5 tbsp)
• Oyster sauce (1 tbsp)
• Five spice (1 tbsp)
• Light soy sauce (3 tbsp)
• Cooking wine (1 tbsp)
• Red wine (2 tbsp)
• WANGZHIHE Fermented Bean Curd (2 chunks)
• Apple Cider Vinegar (3 tbsp)
