Ready for an Irish dance war between good and evil?
Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance is a drama. Dramatic storytelling is all about setup and payoff, requiring conflict between heroes and villains: the more you hate the bad guy, the more you cheer for the good guy.
The first half of this video, Dangerous Game, is designed specifically to make you hate the bad guy: you're watching the Dark Lord and his clan descend upon the Little Spirit like a pack of wolves.
It's not easy to watch. It's uncomfortable. It's *supposed* to be. This isn't a polite technical exhibition; this is a drama. Really let that emotional reaction build, until you're practically screaming at the screen, "For God's sake, somebody *do* something!" Because then, when the cavalry arrives, and we go into Hell's Kitchen, the emotional payoff is that much more powerful.
Hell's Kitchen has some new and exciting formation changes in the choreography; to really show it off, we've brought back the onstage "DancerCam" GoPro, so that you can experience Hell's Kitchen from the inside out.
Featuring Cathal Keaney, Alasdair Spencer, and Cassidy Ludwig, this is the classic clash of Celtic clans for control of Planet Ireland. This is Lord of the Dance: 25 Years of Standing Ovations -- Dangerous Game and Hell's Kitchen.
