I don't know how this catch slipped through the cracks and never got uploaded, it was pretty cool! Truthfully, I thought I lost the footage, lol.

This was CP 421's power as it came into the city from Toronto. At the time, CP was testing a few EMD Tier 4 SD70's across the system. Some call these Bananas, I like to call them Twinkies, lol. One just so happened to be on 421, a daily mixed freight train from Toronto to Winnipeg. Trailing was EMD SD60-3 6302 (Ex-CP SD60 6236, Exx-SOO 6036) and CP GP38-2 4404 (Ex-SOO 4404) that got picked up from Thunder Bay, ON. I don't think CP liked the Tier 4 ACe's, as they were sent back that same year. loads of teething troubles I heard. It'd be really interesting to see CP owned SD70T4's to be honest, but due to reliability track records with them, I could definitely see CP ordering some ET44's from GE, and if not, they'll be getting some from KCS, lol.
