I grew up with Mission Impossible on television. Jim Phelps was a Hero! When I saw the first Mission Impossible Movie I couldn't believe they made Jim Phelps a traitor! Talk about destroying years of character! I would have started this petition years ago if it were possible.

My idea is this. Let Ethan Hunt find out that Jim Phelps (Jon Voight) is ALIVE and has been held captive for last 23 years. The man he thought was Jim Phelps, who murdered his team, was an impostor! After all the entire original series was known for fake-out masks. Now Ethan has to rescue him. How awesome would it be to right this wrong!

Let's SAVE JIM PHELPS!
