Hi, I’m Nick, and today we’re going to be looking at lanyards.

Digital ID is the UK's largest provider of lanyards, in fact since 2015 our in-house team have designed and produced over 5.7 million personalised lanyards and sold over 141,000 packs of plain and pre-printed lanyards.

In this short video, I'm going to explain what a lanyard is, what they are also known as and the 3 types of lanyards you can purchase from Digital ID.

What is a Lanyard?
It's a cord or strap made from a durable polyester material, traditionally worn around the neck and used to display an ID card or access control card. The standard drop length of a lanyard is 45cm.

What is a Lanyard also Known as?
Not everybody refers to lanyards as lanyards. To save confusion, we have listed our top 10 most popular search terms used by customers when referring to lanyards.

We offer 3 different types of Lanyards. Plain. Pre-printed and Personalised.

Plain - Plain lanyards are safe, secure and comfortable. Available in both a metal lobster or plastic j-clip and complete with a safety breakaway. Please note there are 10 colour options available for this range.

Pre-Printed - Quickly identify staff, visitors and contractors within your business. The text is printed in bold right the way across the lanyard.

Personalised - Personalised lanyard are custom made to the user. We can print any logo, design or text to a lanyard and can match Pantone colours at no extra cost.
