- 6:42 It came from a couple of places. My father fought in the war. Now we understand he had post-traumatic stress disorder and he took it out on a lot of people. He told us that you're going to be in a lot of tough situations and you're going to have to fight. Taken to a boys home. There I learned to stand up for yourself
- 7:44 A shy child at first, a very religious kid, spent a lot of time in church. The system changed me from a shy, quiet guy to a guy who should be behind bars
- 9:01 I was going really bad. I was extremely violent. Ended up in a juvenile detention hall, got into really bad fights there, placed into solitary confinement
- 10:45 A judge said "You're going to have to change, or it's over" and then he let me go. My mother was there, my father was crying, I was in shackles, it was a rough moment. The idea occurred to me "All of this is for a reason. What am I going to do with this one chance?"

I first read the stories they were writing and was indifferent. So I then wrote my own article about a suicide prevention centre. Since high school I knew that I could write
