Learn how to make the most adorable bubble toes for gnome feet using air dry clay, polymer clay, or even Model Magic®.
You will need:
- small wire
- clay
- wire cutters
- a craft blade or scissors
How to Make Clay Feet
1. Create a kidney bean shape to form a foot base which is proportional to your finished product. Form another in similar size and shape.
2. Cut small pieces of wire in a medium gauge (I use between 14 and 20, depending on the project) for each toe.
3. Form clay toes by rolling a log, cutting into pieces of descending size, and then rolling each between the palms of your hands.
4. Press a wire into the front of the foot base where each toe's center will be.
5. Press a ball, in descending size, from the large toe at the top of the kidney bean to the smallest at the lowest end of the foot base's front.
