More than 150 people have died in Afghanistan over the past two weeks amid a harsh winter. Temperatures in Kabul have plunged this month, dropping to as low as -34 degrees Celsius. Millions are facing the country's coldest winter in 15 years. The impact has been made worse by limited humanitarian aid being distributed. Roads in several central and northern provinces have been blocked by heavy snowfall, stranding many passengers in their cars.
