This video shows you how to connect and use a USB storage device like a flash drive or external hard drive with an iPad. Make sure the iPad is jailbroken and you will need iFile app from cydia inorder to browse the devices attached.
**Devices to be connected must be only of FAT32 or HFS format. The iPad wont recognise the exFAT or NTFS formatted drives
Inorder to connect the storage devices, you need to use a powered USB hub since the iPad doesnt provide enough power to drive the devices. In my case i have a Plugable powered 7-port USB hub.
