I have been trying to find out the name of this song and the band that performed it for years. On the theatrical release of the movie and the soundtrack, The Damned's Dead Beat Dance was used for this scene. On the original VHS release, this song was used although unaltered. This was taken from my DVD copy of the movie. The laughter at the beginning and the scream at the end come from the original Damned track, but the rest of the song is what was on the VHS copy I owned growing up.
