FOCUS ON THE LORD’S POWER TO RESTORE, 3
2 Kings 5:1 (NKJV) 5 Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but a leper.
In addition to being the commander of the Syrian army and a great man, Naaman was an honorable man. This means that he commanded respect. Nevertheless, he had a problem of leprosy that he could not deal with although he was an honorable man. He needed to turn his attention to the Lord for restoration. We must also acknowledge that although we may command respect in the eyes of men, there are areas in our lives where we can receive restoration only through God’s intervention. Shalom!
