Lets go over the pros and the cons of using a pellet smoker vs a gas grill.

Pros of a pellet smoker
- superior flavor created from cooking with real hardwood
- perfect temperature control using electronic control board
- can control grill temp remotely using wifi

Pros of a gas grill
- Gets very hot very fast
- ease of use. Gas grills require almost no maintenance

Cons of a pellet smoker
- They do not get as hot as a gas grill
- Because they use electronics they are not as reliable long term
- they require more cleaning and maintenance

Cons of a gas grill
- they do not have as good of a flavor as cooking with hardwood
- They dont offer perfect temp control like a traeger does
