The Cubs acquired Jesus Tinoco from the Royals for cash considerations. Tinoco has a 4.58 ERA in 57 big league games and only pitched in nine this season with Texas. In Triple-A, he has a 3.81 ERA in 20 appearances with 34 strikeouts and 10 walks in 2024.
