A 1989 Western drama set during the 1880s, 'Bordertown' deals with a small community that straddles the US/Canada border, with law enforcement shared between a US Marshall and a Canadian Mountie. They even shared the same office, with a painted line on the floor dividing their territories. A co-production between Canadian and French companies, it first aired in America on The Family Channel. The theme is by Henri Lorieau; at first the credits said it was based on Sibelius's Symphony #3 but at some point that was dropped. You can clearly hear the 'Bordertown' theme in the opening of the symphony.
