Hugo Ensslin is an absolute classic human. Some of his cocktails have lasted over 100 years. He is credited for being the first to popularize Applejack, Triple Sec and even Grenadine. While acting as head bartender at the Hotel Wallick in New York, he published the seminal "Recipes for Mixed Drinks". This Book (the last major cocktail book published before Prohibition) gave us drinks like the Aviation and the CHRSYANTHEMUM. Let's make the Chrysanthemum.
