A well known limitation in the bioprinting field is given by the low printability of multiple biologically appealing bioinks. For this reason, different methods have been developed in order to keep the bioink shape before crosslinking takes place, guaranteeing an optimal fidelity of the fabricated structures. In this application, the bioprinting process is performed within a support bath consisting of a biomaterial with reversible thermal gelation. In this way, our bioink of interest can be printed in complex 3D structures thanks to the support of a strong gel that is then easily removed by temperature change.
