Marek's Disease is a highly contagious viral neoplastic disease in chickens. The mortality rate in an inflected flock runs very high and even affected birds that survive carry it the rest of their lives. generally outward symptoms occur 2-6 months of age. It is recommended that you have young chicks vaccinated at one day of age in order to prevent this disease. Another poultry video by Cackle Hatchery.
