The second season of HBO's acclaimed crime series "True Detective" kicks off a new investigation on Sunday night and TheWrap's reporter Jeff Sneider has seen the first three episodes.
"Fast and Furious" filmmaker Justin Lin takes over the director's chair vacated by Cary Fukunaga, while Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn star alongside Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch.
This week's "What's the Deal?" breaks down the characters and the casting and perhaps most importantly, avoids all major plot spoilers. After all, "True Detective" is best enjoyed with a sense of mystery intact.
