Welcome to 26 in 21, a personal quilting challenge I'll be embarking on during 2021.
If I learned anything from the 2020 pandemic experience, it is that I'm happier when I'm being consistently productive, and this will help do that. Join me while I create and vlog my way through 26 quilts during 2021, creating a new quilt every two weeks.
Between making the move gearing up to leave town soon, I clearly found myself over booked on top of keeping on track with these projects! As much as I would have liked to jump right in to another Elizabeth Hartman pattern, I really needed a fast and happy finish. I have always heard about these disappearing patch style blocks, so I searched up a tutorial and made something quick and cute out of things I already had on hand!
This festive little creation was just what I needed, and a perfect little "Christmas in July" style project, not long after we had Teresa Coates come to our shop for "Sew Together Tuesday" and some Festive Fun piecing classes! Now I just need to quickly quilt it before I leave the state!
