How much value does your thought leadership, models, methods and frameworks deliver to your clients? How important is it that you be the exclusive or primary "delivery" vehicle?

Hi there! This is Peter Winick. I'm the founder and CEO of Thought Leadership Leverage. And today, I have a question for you. Have you ever seen a 7-year old bite in to an amazing peanut butter and jelly sandwich? I'm sure you have. And the smile on their face and they light up and they love it. Have you then ever asked them what percent of the joy, of the smile, of the pleasure that they derive from that sandwich comes from the peanut butter, the jelly, the bread. Probably not. And if you did, I'd doubt they'd be able to answer the question. Kind of a silly question.
However, many of us are guilt of just, just the same thing. We need to be in the room or more likely these days in the Zoom in order to deliver value to our clients.
Have you ever stopped and asked your clients how much of the value comes from the power, the strength of your IP, of your models, of your frameworks, of your methodologies versus how much of that value is extracted from you as the delivery vehicle?
I think it's an interesting question. I think it's an important question. I think that the answer of that would surprise many of you in that we're used to delivering our work one-on-one with a client, or in a group, or in person, or at some sort of analog way.
We're not as used to our work standing up on its own without us being the delivery vehicle. And that really is the key. That is the key to scaling, leveraging, better monetizing, having greater impact with your thought leadership and your content.
So anyway, it's a question you might want to ask a client or two. Or something you might want to ponder to figure out how you can deliver value to your clients based on the strength and the models of your methodologies, your framework, and your thought leadership versus just on your charm, your energy, the things you bring into the room.
