At least five police officers have been killed and seven others wounded by an unconfirmed number of snipers who opened fire during a protest in Dallas, Texas against police racial bias.
Local media have reported that three people are in custody, while a fourth man who was involved in a stand-off with police has been found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Dallas police chief David Brown has said one suspect has admitted wanting to kill white people, especially police officers.
