Faculty from our programs in Theatre, English, History, Communication, Music, and Art & Design, along with the MU Library and the Unity Center, have prepared a year-long exploration and celebration of the August Wilson Century Cycle. Wilson's work covers 100 years of the African-American experience, with each of the 10 plays set in a different decade of the 20th century.

Gem of the Ocean is the play set in the first decade of the twentieth century and will inspire the August 27th WebEx presentation and performance.
