Another adaptation of a novel by Ed McBain - this is "Blood Relatives" from 1978.
Stars a youthful Donald Sutherland as Detective Steve Carella, giving a super role, with also smaller roles from David Hemmings and Donald Pleasance, who is as creepy as ever.
Strong performances from the two young girls - Aude Landry and Lisa Langlois.
Is a troubling storyline, although not overly graphic, but be aware if you are easily offended.
