On the last Jummah of Black History Month, we're bringing you the Voices from the Ground from Black Muslims in our community. The intersection of the Black identity and the Muslim identity brings about a unique set of experiences in a person's life. Not only are Black Muslims subjected to discrimination based off of their faith but based off of their skin colour as well - both outside and inside of the Muslim community. Jehann and Abdulkadir share their experiences with us, experiences that some of us can relate to and others can learn from. Watch the entire video to hear their voices.
