Kevin Hays is a highly acclaimed jazz pianist, composer, and singer/songwriter. He has received praise from prestigious publications like The New York Times, Downbeat Magazine, and Jazz Times, as well as winning the "Coup de Coeur" award from the Académie Charles Cros in France.
Hays has collaborated with numerous artists, including Chris Potter, Bill Stewart, Joshua Redman, and Al Foster. He has also worked with James Taylor, Sonny Rollins, and John Scofield on world tours.
In addition to his instrumental work, Hays is known for his expressive singing and songwriting. His 2015 album, New Day, was well-received, featuring his own original songs as well as a cover of the Jimmy Webb classic "Highwayman". Hays' highly anticipated collaboration with guitarist Lionel Loueke, titled Hope, was released in 2019. Hays also co-wrote compositions on the Steve Gadd Band's Grammy-winning album.
On double bass, Shimpei Ogawa,has received numerous awards in Japan and in the USA such as Yamano Big Band Contest: 1st Place (Keio Light Music Society) in 2015, and in 2019, he was semi-finalist at International Society of Bassists Competition
Dyson Willard, earned a degree in Percussion Performance from California State Hayward University and a Master of Music in Jazz and Commercial Music from the Manhattan School of Music in 1986. He has performed with Regina Belle and appeared on multiple TV shows and music festivals. Dyson has collaborated with various renowned jazz artists and toured with Charlie Hunter's group Pound for Pound.
