The fourteenth Superman cartoon short, "The Mummy Strikes," began at the Metropolis Egyptian Museum, where Egyptologist Dr. Jordan was found murdered. his assistant, Jane Hogan saw him dead by the coffin of King Tush. she picked up the syringe. no evidence of what happened, Miss Hogan went on trail for Dr. Jordan's death and the Prosecutors admitted that Miss Hogan's fingerprints are on the Syringe. Miss Hogan was convicted of Dr. Jordan's death she didn't commit. a few days later at the Daily Planet building, Superman in his guise of Clark Kent received a call from Dr. Wilson that he uncovered something that may clear Miss Hogan's charges. as Clark leaves for the museum, Lois followed him, unaware. at the museum, Dr. Wilson told Clark that the Mummy's curse killed Dr. Jordan. he took Clark to Catacombs of the 18 and 20 dynasties to tell a story of King Tush. over 3000 years ago, Tush was 12 years old when his father was the ruler of the upper nile. after the old King's death, Tush became the ruler of 10 million people. Tush was ill and died and his giant royal guards took their own lives by drinking poison so they continue to protect Tush's spirit in the valley of the dead. as Clark and Dr. Wilson approached the coffin of King Tush about Dr. Jordan violated warning by open King Tush's coffin. Clark press the button and picked up a poison needle, that's how Dr. Jordan was killed and the only evidence to clear Miss Jordan's murder charges. suddenly, King Tush's coffin opened and a beam of light from his amulet awaken the giant guards and attacking Lois and Dr. Wilson. one of the giant guards threw Clark into the sarcophagus. as Clark quickly changed into Superman, he came out of the coffin. He flew and saved Lois and Dr. Wilson. with one final blow, Superman put an end to the giant guards. back at the Planet, Clark wrote his story of Miss Hogan's cleared all murder charges and made her a free woman. Lois wrapped her arm in bandages, saying to him, "My mummy done told me."
