What makes a subject line really good is just having intrigue. So if you send a subject line that's generic or they understand what's in the email already, they're not going to want to open it, or they'll already understand the cold email.
One subject line that's been really popular for a long time is ‘quick question?’. That's the gold standard, and why it works so well is because you're creating intrigue. People are like, “what is the question?”, “What is happening in this email?”.
And then you could also make it personalized for an even better subject line. So adding their name, their company name, adding something unique to where if they saw the subject line, they knew that it was specifically tailored to them.
