A Long March-4C launch vehicle launched the Yaogan-33 02 (遥感三十三号02) remote-sensing satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, China, on 2 September 2022, at 23:44 UTC (3 September, 07:44 local time). According to official sources, the satellite has successfully entered the planned orbit and “will be used for scientific experiments, land resources surveys, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention and relief”.
