Track 1 from their second album “Morning Dance” released in 1979 copyright Infinity/ MCA Records. The band with a jazz fusion sound was formed in Buffalo, New York in 1974. This was their most successful album, reaching No. 27 on the Billboard chart and No. 11 in the U.K. It featured some of the best session musicians of the time including the Brecker brothers on horns and drummer Steve Jordan from the SNL house band, later the Blues Brothers Band and David Letterman’s The World’s Most Dangerous Band. Bassist Will Lee also went on to be a long-time member of The World’s Most Dangerous Band and is spectacular on “Jubilee.” It achieved Gold status the same year and was certified Platinum in 1987. The band has released twenty-nine studio albums and two live albums and since 1980 have won a total of twelve Grammy Awards, including five for best Jazz Fusion Performance.
