First is you need to finish all the Fisherman Gambit Quest.
Second is buy many Sardines.
Third is go to the Desert via Ferryman and start fishing!
Try to feel the vibration of your controller to determine if it is junk or a fish.
The vibration is minimal if junk, slightly stronger if fish. If the first nibble is slightly stronger, it can either be Hyneria or Rhizodont. I got lucky since it only took a few tries.

Tip: Press X when the bar below turns Dark/Navy Blue.
