Sinead O'Connor's brutal response to Piers Morgan's TalkTV interview invite
Sinead O'Connor's brutal response to Piers Morgan's show invite has resurfaced following her tragic death aged 56.
The Irish singer's death was confirmed on Wednesday evening, sending shockwaves across the entertainment world as celebrities paid tribute to her.
One of the stars paying tribute included TalkTV star Piers, 58, who recalled his past exchanges with the late singer as he praised her for always speaking her mind.
Along with a lengthy tribute on his show, he also tweeted: "Wondrously gifted singer, and fiercely intelligent, highly amusing, complex, uncompromising, provocative woman with many demons. Knew her for 35 years & we had some ferocious spats but also some great Guinness-fuelled make-ups. She was a unique character. Sad day."
After he paid tribute to her, Sinead's tweet about turning down an interview request from him circulated online. The former Good Morning Britain presenter asked Sinead to appear on his TalkTV show to discuss the death of her 17-year-old son Shane - who tragically took his own life.
