Reviewing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, one of the first (and best?) budget smartphones of 2022. Rocking a 108MP camera, 5000mAh battery and strong gaming chops, the Redmi Note 11 Pro seems to sport similar specs to the older Note 10 phone. So is this a worthy follow-up?
That camera tech isn't really much different at all, once again offering respectable pics as long as conditions aren't too testing. Shame you can't shoot 4K video, but it's fine for simple home movies.
Gamers will get the most from the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, thanks to the Snapdragon 695 which can even handle Genshin Impact as well as PubG and others. Xiaomi's MiUI 13 launcher adds much-improved gaming tools, plus plenty of other bonus bits - but where is Android 12?
Battery life is sublime and the 120Hz AMOLED screen is great for movies as well as games. You've got stereo speakers, a headphone jack and even expandable storage. As long as you can put up with the occasional little MiUI quirk and the slow updates, then the Redmi Note 11 Pro has a lot to offer for a budget price.
So what do you reckon? Is Xiaomi's latest blower a winner? Stay tuned for more on rivals like the Realme 9 Pro Plus!
