RW23L close up plane spotting at Manchester Airport May 2024, filming the close up take offs & landings on RW23R & RW23L, featuring a variety of airlines and aircraft that Manchester Airport has to offer. This compilation was filmed at the RW23L mound which is great for close up take offs & landings, and a great plane spotting location at Manchester Airport. Great to finally capture the brand new Fedex ATR 72-600F EI-HAE arriving at 05:55am operating on the usual freight flight to Paris, would rather have a Fedex Boeing 757-200F back at Manchester Airport, however still great to have Fedex back. Also great to see the newest members of Jet2s fleet the Airbus A321NEOs minus the Jet2 titles and tail logo. Very daunting that Jet2 have more Airbus A321NEOs in operation now than Boeing 757-200s, sad to see the Boeing 757-200 getting very close to retirement with Jet2, and Manchester Airport will be a very different place without those RB211s!
