This is one of those questions that gets asked a lot in private, I figured I would answer it in public! Do you need a coaching certification to be a life coach, do you need a certification to become aa business coach, a motivational coach, etc? In 2 minutes...ish... I will give you the deets.

Is having a coaching certification beneficial?
Sometimes. But a lot of times people get them because they don't feel like they will be valid without it - which is simply not true!!!!

Personally, I have 2 coaching certifications - NO ONE has ever asked me about them. EVER! Because people don't care about pieces of paper. They care about results. Focus on giving your clients that!
