Excavated in Egypt: The Amarna letters are a collection of clay tablets written in Cuneiform. Some of these tablets testify that they were letters written by Governors and Kings of Canaanite tribes and were addressed to the Pharaoh of the time, asking for his help at the time the Israelites were conquering and settling Canaan.
