Normal sperm count is around 20 millions per ml. Depending on what is the sperm count, around 5 to 10 millions we can still try to IUI, but if the sperm count is less than 5 million, we have to consider IVF. Apart from the sperm count, we have to do the male partners some few hormonal blood tests. If those tests are still normal and if the sperm count is still less, we can go for IVF.
