Should you buy a house in a Flood Zone??

Investor’s and first time home buyer’s are always looking for the best deal they can find but don’t forget to check if the property is in a flood zone or not. Properties in flood zones are usually cheaper because of the additional insurance costs for being in a flood zone. Flood zone properties are tougher to sell as well so I usually do not recommend them unless it’s a beach house where there is no way around it.
