T-Square is a Japanese jazz fusion outfit that rose to fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Comprising of guitarist Masahiro Andoh, bassist Mitsuru Sutoh, saxophonist, flautist and EWI player Takeshi Itoh, keyboardist Hirotaka Izumi, and drummer Hiroyuki Noritake, the band is best known for hits such as "Truth", "Japanese Soul Brothers", "Takarajima", and "Omens of Love". For over a decade, an arrangement of "Truth" was used as the theme for Japan's Formula One (F1) racing events from 1989 to 2000. "Truth 21c" was used from 2001 to 2002, and other remixes of the same song could be heard from 2003 up to 2006.
