South Africa has an acute productivity challenge. That's according to some economists following comments made by Anglo American CEO Mark Cutiffani during the release of the global mining giants financial results last week. Cutiffani warned that if the problem of low productivity was not addressed as a matter of urgency, job losses would continue.
