In a city as diverse and inclusive as New York, we take pride in celebrating the many cultures that represent all New Yorkers. As the sun set on a beautiful evening, members of the Muslim Officers Society, interagency partners, and the community came together at 1 Police Place to celebrate iftar - the breaking of the fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
This event was a beautiful display of unity and respect for one another's traditions and beliefs. It was an opportunity to break bread together and share in the joy and blessings of Ramadan. We were thrilled to be a part of such a meaningful gathering and look forward to continuing to celebrate the diversity that makes New York City such a special place.
