The former Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman has died aged 78.

Goodman become a judge on the show when it launched in 2004 and made his final appearance on the panel on the 2016 Christmas Day special. He also served as head judge on the US version, Dancing with the Stars, for more than 15 years until announcing his retirement to spend more time with his family in November last year. The dancing star was known for his trademark 'seven!', dry humour and metaphors, as well as his unrivalled knowledge of Latin and Ballroom.
