New for 2022 Ruger reintroduces the Marlin 1895 Guide Gun. I wanted the Marlin Trapper model, but missed out on getting it. Luckily, my local shop got in this latest release from Ruger - The Marlin 1895 GBL (Guide Big Loop). I'm just calling it the Marlin Guide Gun. I'd been wanting a 45-70 Govt for a while and I really like Marlin Lever Guns. Since I am a Ruger fan and they purchased the Marlin line during the Remington sell off, I could not wait for the quality of Ruger to be expressed in the Marlin lever guns. I have a fine example here with this big bore lever gun.
