This walking tour in Dusseldorf Germany offers a great way to enjoy Dusseldorf city's beautiful ambience on a sunny spring day just after the reopening of some businesses in end of April 2020. I am starting this walking tour close to the Karlsplatz market place then taking a quick stroll through the Altstadt (Old town) closeby. Right afterwards I am walking around the Rathausplatz and head back to the Heinrich Heine Station. I hope you can relax and enjoy this beautiful walking tour in Dusseldorf (Western Germany) on a sunny spring day in Dusseldorf during the late afternoon hours while the COVID19 pandemic is happening. It is quite shocking that the streets are very empty compared to normal.

The Altstadt/Old Town is one of the 49 boroughs of Düsseldorf, Germany; it belongs to central City District 1. The Düsseldorfer Altstadt is known as "the longest bar in the world" (längste Theke der Welt), because the small Old Town has more than 300 bars and discothèques; supposedly, each establishment's bar-counter connecting to one next door.
