One of the main problems in their current flagship smartphone lineup is that some regions get the superior Snapdragon 865 Plus chip while other regions get the inferior Exynos chip. Often the Exynos variant phones are more expensive too. This was a huge problem in Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra causing overheating and slowdown. They continue to use the same Exynos chip in certain Galaxy Note 20 phones while upgrading the Snapdragon variant of Note 20 to an even better Snapdragon 865 Plus chip.
