Investigation at Brighthams Farm, Henfield, West Sussex.
Supplier of Sainsbury’s Dairy products.
The calves we met were only days old and already separated from their mothers. All calves are separated before 72 hours of life. Some of the calves had diarrhoea and at least one had ring worm.
There are so many victims of the dairy industry. Mothers have gone through the loss of all their children, their bodies are exhausted. The calves want their mothers milk and to spend time with their family.
There are 1.8 million dairy cows in the UK, who are all killed at only 5 years old, when they can live to the age of 20. The dairy industry spends £124.2M on adverts a year and gets 100s of millions in subsidies.
Dairy is responsible for this.
