37 secondary school students are among 40 people killed in an attack on a school in western Uganda. Rebels from the allied democratic forces -adf are reported to have struck lhubiriha secondary school in Mpondwe on Friday at around 11.30pm killing, injuring and burning the school dormitory before kidnapping 6 students and stealing maizemeal and beans according to Uganda’s defence spokesperson brigadier general Felix Kulayigye.
