This week we're going to look at 6th root (E String) arpeggios and try to break down the stereotype that they are just for "shredders". I use arpeggios all the time in my playing, whether I'm using them to outline chords in a rhythmic way, create a catchy phrase, or as a basis for my soloing. In fact, arpeggios were the single most important thing for me to be able to grow my playing beyond using just the pentatonic scale. Join me for this short lesson to get you started on two shapes - major and minor - with some added bonus skills thrown in!
